Leago & Kamo feed off of one another and join forces together to create spaces that help the occupants flourish in.
Baccalaureus Technologiae: Interior Design
Bespoke Cabinetry Specialist
Kamo obtained her Diploma in Interior Design in 2013 and later went on to complete her degree in 2015 with Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria, Gauteng.
Her in-service training led her to the cabinetry design field which grew her passion for shopfitting & bespoke cabinetry design. She obtained a certificate from Blum for Dynamic spaces, which is the practice of creating detailed and functioning cabinetry & shopfitting. This first-hand experience helped her improve her attention to detail and enhanced her expertise in functional space design while maintaining the need for eye-catching aesthetics. Kamo has worked on large scale projects, doing shopfitting for high-end residential clients, high-end residential developments, hospitality fit-outs, and office spaces. Her industry exposure allowed for valuable networking opportunities with architects, contractors suppliers & artisans of different materials and services giving an enhanced understanding of the industry and its processes.
Kamo spent years in the cabinetry industry practicing good quality design and standards for a niche market and understands the need for every client to feel unique and different. Her eyes are always drawn to the detailing in a space before its aesthetic, as it doesn’t matter having great aesthetics without them being finished off to the tee.
Her passion for design and knowledge and experience in cabinetry design highlights her strengths as a Bespoke Interior Designer, with the ultimate goal of creating unique and functioning homes.
With the same vision in mind, it is our mission to use our specialties together to help clients realise their truest potential in their personal spaces.
